Some new pictures for the season finale were released this weekend, and they give me hope that this Maenad storyline will wrap up and we will actually get to move on and set up Season 3.
This picture of Maryann and Jason is interesting...will Jason be immune to Maryann's possession like Sookie? Or will he become zombie-eyed as well? Find out next week...
Sam is tending bar at Merlotte's with book author Charlaine Harris (making her first cameo appearance). Notice that Tara is also in the background and this scene appears to be in daylight. My speculation is that both Sam and Tara survive the Maenad ceremony and hopefully Bon Temps goes back to normal (well, as normal as can be expected).
Sookie and Bill are dressed up for dinner and dancing...obviously this scene is at night since vampires are involved. Again, this leads me to believe that both Sookie and Bill also survive (if you had any doubts) and are celebrating something...
